The International Children's Memorial Place in endeavouring to develop the Scales Pond site into a diversified wellness area with appeal to a large cross section of the general public. As such the following projects have been undertaken.

The goal of the board is to open a fully functional early 19^th century wood mill for educational purposes. Teaching focus would be on the integration of nature and natural resource usage in a manner conducive to renewable resources.

The Historic Rogers House. Developed as the center for the ICMP group, it will include reception aea, gathering area, office space, refreshment area, gift shop, reading/reflection room, computer research room, general purpose area, counselling room,  and a boardroom.

Attractions at the ICMP site include: The Ever Living Forest includes Memorial Brick Walkway, Fish Ladder, Spillway, Family Centre (School), Healing Centre (Roger's House), Memory Lane Walking Trail, Trail of Reflection and Hydro Electric Museum.
